HyperSweet is a non-profit, independently-published magazine featuring the creativity of artists, writers, illustrators, photographers, and graphic designers.

Hypersweet started off as a black & white, photocopied music fanzine in 2001 with music reviews, an interview with a hip hop group, anime review, bedroom-DJing how-to article, alcohol taste-test, movie reviews, and a comic strip.

While the name remains the same, Hypersweet underwent a format change; resurfacing with the same irreverent, witty, & sincere take on the world, but without the gushing praise of a fanzine. The bulk of the zine consists of smart, thoughtful essays. Visual stimulation is also featured through story illustrations, comic strips, and photo spreads.

If you would like to join our proactive plight to shake up cookie-cutter publishing, please e-mail me your submission idea. I'm also open to different essay/column/visual ideas. Feel free to hit me up with any questions... thanks!
